Pastry Finals

For the end of my second quarter I had to make a Tiramisu Cake and a Passion Fruit Mousse Cake! Some of it was a challenge, but was well worth it! I could've eaten the whole Tiramisu cake by myself!

Tiramisu custard with layers of Lady Fingers (A sponge cake) brushed with Coffee Syrup, topped with ganache and whipped cream. So Yummy!

Passion Fruit Mousse Cake
This cake had a joconde sponge strip around the sides,
genoise cake layers, the mousse, and a passion fruit glacage (glaze)!

I Guess the Old Saying is True...

My parents have always said, "You never know until you try it". After being in a culinary school I've learned to try new things...and of all things I never expected to like this!
Yes, Sushi! This is Avocado Cucumber Sushi. It's to die for! I've also tried some with smoked salmon and it was just as good! I definitely recommend you try it!

Sweet Saturday

As I was thinking of my sister's obsession with puppy chow, I decided to make it in donut form!
I made a chocolate peanut butter donut with a chocolate cinnamon glaze. It tasted just like the puppy chow she makes!

These have a Natural Peanut Butter Glaze

These have a Chocolate Cinnamon Glaze
Lets just say I had a little too much fun making these :)!
